CARONPORT, SK- The Clippers and the Sundogs played their first match against each other on Friday night. The Clippers won; defeating the Sundogs in four sets.
The Clippers and the Sundogs battled out an exciting match Friday night, going to the Clippers. The scores being 25-11, 26-24, 16-25 and 25-20. The first set was dominated by the Clippers, just overpowering the Sundogs in a 25-11 one-sided set.
In the second set the Sundogs found momentum off the bat matching up to the Clippers pulling up 19-22. But the Clippers came back from being down 21-24 and went on a five-point streak in a 26-24 Clippers finish. #3 Olivia Fox was a key asset to the Clippers success, gaining many stats in all different areas in the set.

In the third set the Sundogs came back playing a great set, they finished the set winning 16-25, a big team effort in the comeback set.
The Clippers shut down the Sundogs in the fourth set winning 25-20, the Sundogs coming out to tomorrows rematch seeking for victory against the Clippers.
Player of the game for Briercrest was #9 Tyrese Thorn playing a fantastic match for the Clippers. For the Sundogs #16 Emily Luchenski obtained player of the game playing an outstanding match for GPC.
