In a double header day, Briercrest started the first match, coming out with an early lead. Briercrest’s #3 Olivia Fox helped to push her team ahead with a dig, but Prairie was close behind, keeping it within 1 point. Briercrest won the set 25-23. Prairie kept their pressure into the 2nd set, #13 Rebeccah Allen from Prairie blocked Briercrest to keep their lead 10-6. However, Briercrest took the lead from Prairie half way through the set to win 25-19. In the final set, Briercrest won 25-20.
In their second match of the day, Prairie forced Briercrest to a 4th set. Prairie opened the 1st set leading 3-0 and keeping ahead of Briercrest by one point for the remainder of the set. Briercrest however took the lead and won 25-14. Once again, the 2nd set was close between the teams, just a couple points difference. Prairie won the set 27-25 in an exciting back and forth set. In the 3rd and 4th sets, Briercrest won 25-17 and 25-14 to win the match.
Players of the Games for were: for Prairie #3 Kelly Galbraith (1st game) #8 Maya Glisson (2nd game) and for Briercrest #12 Cassidy Andersen (1st game) and #11 Mullen Mack (2nd game).

In their double header day, Briercrest started the 1st set in game one leading Prairie 10-3. Both teams had good continues through the set; Briercrest took the set 25-12. Heading into the 2nd set, both Prairies #2 Jean –Samuel Lampron and Briercrest’s #2 Darnell Bergen made keys plays for their team to only be a few points a part. Briercrest slowly pulled away and won the next 2 sets 25-13 and 25-11 to win the match.
In the final game of the day, Briercrest started the set leading Prarie 10-5, Briercrest’s #8 James Miller helped to lead his team in the set, adding multiple points from his serves. Briercrest finished the set 25-11. Once again in the 2nd and 3rd sets, Prairie was close behind Briercrest early on and capitalized on a few of Briercrest’s out of bound hits. In the end, Briercrest won both sets, 25-12 and 25-15.
