The Great Plains College SunDogs hosted the Briercrest Clippers on
Wednesday, November 14 in Swift Current at the Great Plains College
gymnasium. The SunDogs took the game in three sets however, the scores were
very close; 25-19 in the first set, 25-18 in the second and then a reach of
27-25 in the third and final set.
The SunDogs demonstrated outstandingdefense with Kyra Behm and Jaden McKenzie leading the back row. The impressive soft hands of Emily Bredahl led the way for hard hitters like Jordan Jacobson and Tess Vandersteen to crush some balls at the net.

The SunDogs have had the luxury of acquiring some mature athletes this season
which has led to some very striking on-court action. The number of "smart
points" that come with an experienced team definitely pads the scoresheet
and makes for an entertaining game. This also allows coach Tyler Byers to
orchestrate some strategic plays.
Players of the Game were awarded to #1 Jaden MacKenzie of the SunDogs and #13 Raena McNabb of the Briercrest Clippers. A decent crowd was in attendance to cheer on both teams; it was great night of PAC ball.
