Bobcats Travel To Swift Current and Three Hills

Sept. 29, 2018 Saturday night was a match up against the Great Plains College SunDogs from Swift Current. Unfortunately they were not able to find enough players this year for a men's team, a fact that was just made know about a week ago. The ladies game went to 4 sets with the Bobcats coming out on the losing end. The scores were 25-23, 16-25, 27-25, and 25-20 in favour of the SunDogs.

Oct. 2, 2018 In spite of the miserable weather and questionable road conditions Prairie College, from Three Hills AB, were at Burman last night for PAC volleyball action. The lady Bobcats dominated the Prairie Pilots by winning three straight sets by scores of 25-10, 25-10, and 25-12. For the third time in as many games, Maress Emmons was selected by the opposing coaches, as "Player of the Game." Congratulations Maress!

The men followed the ladies and their sets were much closer. The Bobcats took the first two sets by scores of 25-21 and 25-17. Sets three and four were won by Prairie Pilots by scores of 25-22 and 25-15 which forced a fifth tiebreaker set which is played to 15 points. The Bobcats began the set with renewed energy and determination and won with a decisive score of 15-6. The entire game was exciting and at times, a bit nerve racking!
