The Millar Edge Ladies hosted the Great Plains SunDogs last night. Midway through the first set, it was clear we were in for a long evening as both teams traded big plays. After the end of the first set, the SunDogs pulled away and ended up winning 25-17.
The Edge ladies fought back in the 2nd set and were able to tie up the match as they won 25-16. The third set, the SunDogs got rolling and won an easy won 25-13. After 3 sets of wide margins of victory, the 4th set was a different story as both teams went back and forth for the entire set before the Edge Ladies won 25-23, setting up a 5th and deciding set.
The Edge got off to a quick start, however the SunDogs fought back and the score was 8-7 at the court change. After that, the Edge Ladies took the final points of the set, winning the match and handing the SunDogs their first lost of the season (4-1) and bringing their record to 3-2 on the season.
